I cut off men’s penises for N150,000’, Prostitute confesses

The commercial sex worker, Uche Agunta told the security officials that she had cut off the penises of seven men with razor blades while they were having sex with her.

A 23-year-old lady prostitute resident in Imo State has made shocking revelations to the police after she was arrested for trying to cut off a man’s genitals.
The commercial sex worker, Uche Agunta told the security officials that she had cut off the penises of seven men with razor blades while they were having sex with her.
Unfortunately for her, she met her waterloo when she attempted to castrate her eighth victim, an anti-kidnap officer.
“I am a prostitute and I smoke. I have a gang and we specialise in sleeping with men and cutting their manhood during sex. We use the manhood for money rituals. I have killed seven men in the hotel in Owerri. They had sex with me after they have paid me N3, 000 or N5, 000. I would be on top of the man and in the process I would bring out blade and cut off his manhood,” Uche said.
“I usually hand over the manhood to our gang leader. They always promise to pay us N150, 000 for each manhood we could supply, and which they used for money ritual,” she added.
She explained the circumstances in which she met her last prospective victim:
“In November 2014, the man met me at Oyima Street, Owerri. He gave me N2,000 to have sex with me. It was around 3.00pm. The victim took me to the hotel in Owerri and he was having sex with me.”
“I was on top of him and when he was enjoying it, I brought out my blade and I started cutting his manhood. But it hadn’t cut off when he started to shout for help. Then they came to arrest me and he was rushed to the hospital. I was arrested and I have confessed to the police,” she said.
According to the victim:
“I took the suspect to the hotel and I paid her N2, 000 for sex. The suspect was on top of me and suddenly she brought out a blade and almost cut off my manhood. Blood was gushing out and I started shouting, then the hotel staff came in and the police arrested her.”
“I was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. I am still receiving treatment. I thank God. My manhood could have been cut off; it remained just a little,” he added.
Uche’s arrest was confirmed by the State Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali who stated that the suspect was indeed part of a prostitution ring which specialized in using men’s genitals for money rituals.

HEALTH Ebola crisis: Sierra Leone bans Christmas celebrations

Sierra Leone has banned public celebrations over Christmas and the New Year, because of the Ebola crisis.
Soldiers are to be deployed on the streets throughout the festive period to keep people indoors, officials say.
Christmas is widely celebrated in Sierra Leone, even though Islam is the largest religion.
Sierra Leone has the most cases of Ebola in the current outbreak. Some 6,580 have died, mostly in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
President Ernest Bai Koroma told traditional leaders to stop traditional practices as part of efforts to end Ebola in the country, Awoko newspaper reports.

Ritualists descend on Osun State

The yuletide season and election years are always known to be the period where many desperate politicians and people looking for fast money take to various crimes to achieve their aim and in Osun State, south west Nigeria, ritual killers are having a field day.
Few days after the headless body of a young girl was discovered in an uncompleted building, in Magaji Area of Iwo, the headquarters of Iwo local government area,  two other mutilated bodies were found on the Ife-Ibadan Expressway in the state yesterday.
The bodies which could not be identified, are suspected to be the handwork of ritualists who are becoming desperate.
The incident, according to the Daily Sun Newspaper, is sending a wave of fear and confusion around the state as no one knows where the evil people will strike again and who the next victim would be.
Reports by the paper stressed that the bodies must have been dumped on the road in the wee hours of the day, creating the impression that they were either killed in the town or brought from nearby Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
A man who was among the first set of people that arrived at the scene was quoted as saying:
"We strongly suspect that the bodies were dumped as early as 4 am. From our observations, the same parts were missing in both bodies. Heads, private parts and their limbs were all cut off. We only met the torsos.
We could not also determine the sexes of the bodies because unsuspecting vehicles had smashed them possibly because it was still dark when they were dumped."
According to another resident of the town, ritualists, especially those involved in picking unsuspecting passengers on the road, may have set up camps in the forest around the expressway.

Armed robbers masquerade as Evangelists to attack residents

With the yuletide season around the corner, desperate criminals have been devising different means of carrying out their trade. So it was for some armed robbers in Benin, Edo State, who disguised themselves as Evangelists to gain access into private residences, in the guise of preaching the gospel.
But it was a bad day in the office for three of those armed men who were nabbed at Evoutubu, a settlement in the city when they gained access into a block of four flats early in the morning dressed as men of God. They had with them cut-to-size pump action guns which they used to dispossess many tenants of their belongings.
Luck ran out on them when one of the members insisted on raping one of the female occupants of the flats. It was in the process of carrying out their unwholesome activities that one of the occupants to managed to escape and subsequently raise an alarm, which attracted neighbours who pursued and caught them.
According to reports, it took the intervention of policemen from the Evoutubu Police division to stop residents from lynching the criminals as the angry crowd had wanted to set them on fire after they were beaten to a pulp.
The Edo State Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, DSP Noble Uwoh, who confirmed the incident, urged the residents to be wary of persons they allow into their homes in whatever guise, calling on the people of the state to be vigilant and report suspicious characters to the police
